Memphis hotel settles price-gouging claim

A Memphis hotel has agreed to settle a price-gouging complaint by making refunds to some Hurricane Katrina evacuees.
A total of $6,100 is to be distributed among 106 guests who stayed at the La Quinta Inn in the aftermath of the storm, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports. They will receive restitution ranging from $5.55 to $293.
