Nikkei rises 0.34 pct, real estate stocks up

Union signs Hyatt Regency convention hotel

Workers at the 1,100-room Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center — the metro area’s second-largest hotel — voted to unionize this morning, according to the UNITE HERE union.
The $355 million hotel, located in downtown Denver across from the Colorado Convention Center, opened in December 2005. It employs roughly 700 workers.
