‘Recently renovated, so a nice, clean bathroom and a small but clean and functional bedroom. Great location in walking distance of the character-full areas of Republique, Oberkampf and Bastille. Most of the staff were very nice and there was a computer with internet access at reception. The main disadvantage was that there was no fan or A/C so it was very hot at night, even with the windows open. But for the price, great value’

‘Overall the hotel is very good for the price paid. The only bad thing is that the walls are paper thin. You can hear people walking around, slamming doors and even coughing and sneezing! But having said this, it is very clean (room was cleaned everyday - no matter what time we left), almost everyone speaks English and it is in a good location to the Metro and taxi stand. There is also a supermarket just outside as well as many cafes and restaurants’
