Austin’s Arts et Metiers Hotel Paris
July 30th, 2008 - Category: HotelIdeally located, Austin’s Arts et Metiers Hotel is the right place for you to stay in Paris. Nestled in a quiet street in the heart of Le Marais, just in front of the Museum and Conservatory of the Arts et Metiers and very near Beaubourg, Les Halles and Notre Dame, Austin’s Arts et Metiers Hotel is idealy situated for you discover the “vieux-Paris”.
The hotel features spacious guestrooms that are well decorated and beautifully furnished with several modern amenities. There are beams in some rooms, which create a charming Parisian atmosphere.
Enjoy a buffet-style breakfast served in the cozy dining room, unless, that is, you prefer breakfast in bed.
There is a cosy lounge next to the lobby where you will find at your disposal a computer with internet connection and you can also comfortably spend some time in reading your favourite books too.
Here are some review of the hotel’s guests:
Great little hotel, rooms were small but very clean. Staff very friendly and accomodating, breakfast room cosy, plenty of food. Close to metro, 20metres, Cafe Leonard across the road stays open to 2am. If you like quiet, ask for a back room.
Breakfast excellent. good location close to metro and 15/20minutes walk from Notre Dame. Room small at back with not much light but quiet as building work is going on at front.
We stayed in this hotel from the 1st to the 5th of May 2008. The hotel location is excellent for your travels around Paris and the major atractions are only 15 mins away by the underground. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafe’s close by. The lift is very small and the rooms are a little tiny but if you are there to sight see then a clean & tidy room with a confortable bed is all you need. We will stay here again for sure. Tip of the day:- When you order a Taxi from your hotel or elsewhere, be warned they will charge you from the time you call for the Taxi. Our taxi had 6.40 euro on the meter when it got to the hotel.
