Condominium prices on Kauai rose last month on flat sales, while both single-family home prices and sales fell.

The median price of a condo on the Garden Isle in January was $586,000, up from $455,810 during the same month last year. That price was based on 20 units sold, the same as January 2007, according to statistics from Hawaii Information Service.

The median price of a single-family home on Kauai in January was $630,000, down from $799,000 during the same month in 2007. That figure was based on 21 sales, down from 35 sales in January 2007.
