Karen Simonsen and Linda Sherline bought a three-bedroom, three bath condo in The Conservatory at 2314 N. Lincoln Park West for $1.2 million from Russell and Carla Paonessa on April 26.

Simonsen is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP in Chicago, a position she’s held since 1994. She works in the firm’s Employee Benefits Department.

Simonsen earned her J.D. from the Northwestern University School of Law (1988) and a B.A. from Colorado State University (1985).

There are 39 units in The Conservatory, which was built in 1991.
