Kratsa Properties of Harmar will build a 200-room hotel in the heart of Pittsburgh’s downtown and a broad retail and condominium development on the city’s North Shore.

The announcement came just after the company marked the start of construction of a 15 million dollar Marriott. The 115-room hotel of suites will be near the upscale SouthSide Works development.

Kratsa is also planning to build two other large hotels in and around Pittsburgh.
