A condo project called The Railway Lands is on track for downtown Lindsay.

The three buildings, called Durham Station, Victoria Station and Union Station are located on brownfield land, a former railway property in the area of Victoria Avenue south near Russell Street west.

The development and public works committee recommended Tuesday that city council approve the zoning bylaw amendments sought by applicant T.M Robinson Associates.

“This is an opportunity for the City of Kawartha Lakes. It represents an urban residential intensification project,” said Tom Robinson, planner for Don Wilson Construction Ltd.
