Commercial real estate investment company WP Carey & Co. LLC on Tuesday said Tuesday it bought 61 French logistics properties for $68 million in a sale and leaseback deal with the Fraikin Group, a portfolio company of CVC Capital Partners.

The properties, which total more than 1 million square feet, include locations in Paris, Lille and Marseille, and are generally located in industrial parks.

Fraikin is a commercial truck and industrial vehicle leasing company with operations in France, Spain, Poland, Switzerland and Slovakia.

Shares of WP Carey dipped 70 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $32.11 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
