Bourdo suspended from practicing real estate
February 1st, 2007 - Category: Real EstateThomas Bourdo, 61, a former Tempe Parks and Recreation Board member and Chandler school administrator, recently convicted of attempted child molestation, now also is suspended from practicing real estate in Arizona.
Bourdo, sentenced in December to 10 years in prison and lifetime probation, was a real estate agent who lived near Baseline Road and McClintock Drive, according to police and the state Department of Real Estate.
Police said Bourdo fondled an 11-year-old boy March 22 while the boy was lying on a couch at Bourdo’s Tempe home. Bourdo and the boy’s family were friends, and the family had been to Bourdo’s home, police said.
Bourdo also was on the Tempe Board of Adjustment. In Chandler, he was assistant principal at Andersen Elementary in 1992, according to Republic archives, and a counselor at Willis Junior High in 1999.
