Plans for a $15 million, 136-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel on 71st Street next to Woodland Hills Mall are being developed and await final approval by City Council.

Robert Patel, president of Leisure Hospitality Inc. of Tulsa, said the hotel is one of four on which construction will begin this year in the metro area at a combined estimated cost of $37.15 million.

The other hotels under development include a 103-room Hampton Inn & Suites in Owasso, a 90-room TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Owasso, and a 90-room Holiday Inn Express in Bartlesville.
