Coney Island’s Astroland Sold; Year-Round Resort Planned

Resort operator buys property in Wisconsin Dells

Bluegreen Corp. said Tuesday that it has purchased 7 acres of land adjacent to the Treasure Island Water & Theme Park Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

Nemacolin Resort Withdraws Slots Application

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is no longer seeking a state license to operate a slot machine casino.
In a statement released Tuesday, Nemacolin said it withdrew its license application because customers of the resort would have had to spend $25 in non-gaming purchases each time they wanted to visit the casino.

Bluegreen Buys Land Adjacent to Resort in Wisconsin and 24 Unsold Existing Timeshare Units

Bluegreen Corp., which owns and operates time-share resorts, said Tuesday that it bought a seven-acre parcel of land adjacent to the Treasure Island Water and Theme Park Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wis., and 24 unsold existing timeshare units at the property.

Las Vegas condo developer settles class-action lawsuit

The developer of a canceled condominium project has reached a settlement with its buyers. Florida-based Del American was sued last year for canceling reservation contracts and raising prices at its $650 million mid-rise condo project — known as Vegas Grand.

European Club signs with Preferred Hotel Group

A company that sells sales, marketing and service solutions to independent hotels said it has signed a deal with the developer of a condominium-hotel project in Hallandale Beach.
